The African American Heritage Foundation will present their 27th Annual Senior “Thank You Day” on November 19, 2020 at the Martin Luther King Center in Lafayette.

The Foundation says that, due to the pandemic and the safety of seniors, the event will be a drive thru only pick up dinner.

Committee members expect to feed 500 senior citizens during the drive-thru event which begins at 11:00 am until all meals are gone.

Seniors will also be able register for prizes to be given out later that day.

The annual Senior Thank You Day was created 27 years ago by African American Heritage Foundation founder, the late Je’nelle Chargois.
