IF you're over the beads and looking to get rid of them, the Acadiana Humane Society needs them for next year's Krewe des Chiens dog parade.
The parade is a huge fundraiser for all area animal rescues.
You can drop off your beads at Bridge Storage on Ambassador Caffery Parkway, just ask for Linda and tell her they are for AHS animal rescue. You can also bag or box them up, mark them with "AHS" and leave them in the donation bin at any Lafayette Petco.
