Police have arrested a woman who is accused of trying to use a stolen credit card to purchase cell phones.

The Jennings Police Department was dispatched on Monday to a local Verizon store in reference to a woman attempting to purchase three Apple iPhones using a fake driver license and a fake credit card, according to police. A suspect was identified as Saneice Peterson.

An employee observed the suspect and remembered her from a previous store recently making purchases under another false name with a fake ID under the name Veronica Hunt and a fake matching credit card.

Today in Jennings, she was allegedly using a fake license name under Aleesha Moffett.

Officers located multiple items and receipts that was purchased using the fake IDs and credit cards.

Investigators say Peterson used fake IDs and credit cards to make multiple purchases along I-10.

Peterson was booked into jail on possession of fraudulent documents, theft, and illegal possession of stolen things.
