UPDATE: All lanes are open on I-10 East at LA 99 (Mile Marker 55) near Welsh. Congestion is clear at this time.

Welsh Police are currently on the scene of a single-vehicle crash along I-10 East which state police say involved a truck and the trailer it was hauling.
Trooper Derek Senegal says that the driver experienced an equipment problem, possibly a tire malfunction which caused the crash. The driver of that truck received minor injures.
The right lane of travel is now open and is being cleaned. There is congestion in the area.
I-10 East was temporarily closed at LA 99.
