Fenton man accused of indecent behavior with a juvenile, sexual battery.

JEFFERSON DAVIS PARISH, La. - A 44-year-old Fenton man is accused of indecent behavior with a juvenile and sexual battery.

Detectives were called to Fenton Elementary School on November 2, 2020, to investigate a child abuse report, according to Chief Deputy Christopher Ivey, spokesperson for the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office.

The juvenile reported inappropriate activity had occurred in June at a residence on George Green street in Fenton by an adult male friend of the family.

On Monday, November 9, 2020, deputies went to the 700 block of Eighth Street in Fenton to serve an active felony warrant for Marlon Demond Scott.

Scott was booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail for indecent behavior with a juvenile, sexual battery, and possession of schedule 1.
