LAFAYETTE — Lafayette police need your help locating a shooting suspect.
Police were called to investigate a shooting around 11:00 pm on November 26, the 200 block of Verdun Street.
While investigating the shooting officers heard several gunshots in the area.
According to police two men were chasing a third man near Verdun Street and Marne Street. There was gun fire exchanged between both parties.
The victim, an innocent bystander was hit by a stray bullet. He was transported to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
