A new business is up and rolling in New Iberia and can say "We're Open."
Bayou Lit Bikes, owned by Ashley Cahee, is open for bicycle rentals and/or tours.
The business is open 7 days a week for residents to come in and book a tour of the city. Also available is the "Lit Glow in the Dark Bicycle Tour," which is open to up to 14 people and features a glow in the dark bike, glow in the dark accessories, and is led with various music.
Tours are led through the city, Cahee explains.
"Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we offer the tours at night," she said. "We offer 7:00 tour and an 8:30 tour. Basically we do a three-mile bike ride along the Bayou Teche, the city park, the main street. We come back through the historic district of New Iberia."
