A voter registration drive has been set for this weekend.
There will be a voting awareness event in Jeanerette at the Shack on Martin Luther King Drive on Friday. The hour-long event starts at 8:30 a.m.
Also on Friday, and continuing on Saturday, the "We Got Power" tour will drive through Acadiana communities, sharing information about voting and how to register.
