Two people died Sunday in an UTV accident.
Renee Landry Hoffpauir, 53, and Chad Stansbury, 53, were pronounced dead at the scene of the 5:30 p.m. crash, Iberia Parish Sheriff's deputies say.
The crash happened in a sugar cane field in the 7400 block of Danielle Road. The two were riding on a utility terrain vehicle which ran off the sugar cane headland and into a drainage ditch embankment, deputies say.
This accident remains under investigation.
