State Police are investigating an inmate death in Iberia Parish.
The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office requested that troopers investigate the death of a female inmate on November 24.
The woman was found unresponsive. Troopers say they are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine cause of death, a spokesman said.
