An Iberia Parish Sheriff's deputy has been arrested.
A spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office confirmed that Deputy Gustavo Saldana has been arrested and booked with domestic violence.
He was arrested by the New Iberia Police Department, the spokesperson said.
The deputy now is on administrative leave pending an internal investigation, the spokesperson said.
