The sewer line work along N. Landry Drive in New Iberia has been extended until Tuesday, September 10. The roadway will remain closed during working hours - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The work began on September 5 at the intersection of Pelican Street and was expected to take two days.
During the course of the work, crews will make their way northwest along N. Landry Drive and stop at the road's intersection with Hwy 182.
Access to businesses along the roadway will be maintained. Signs will be posted in the area with instructions for drivers on how to proceed.
The work is being done by E.B. Feucht & Sons, LLC.
