New Iberia paraded in their patriotic best for this year's Independence Day celebrations.
The 4th of July Parade featured a "Lite Up My Ride" segment where cars and riders were decorated in their patriotic best.
The parade began at 2:00 pm at Bouligny Plaza in New Iberia. Prizes were given out for the best decorated and "most spirited rider"
Judges consist of Mayor DeCourt, Parish President Larry Richard, several veterans, and the New Iberia Police Department.
