NEW IBERIA, La. — The New Iberia Police Department are investigating a Thursday shooting that left one injured.
An NIPD spokesperson says that police responded to a call about a shooting on May 28 at around 7 p.m. on Shelton Avenue in New Iberia.
NIPD state that one person was injured and taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
No suspects have been arrested at this time.
NIPD say that the matter is still under investigation.
