New Iberia residents had the opportunity Saturday to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal a few days early.
Perro Blessings Outreach Ministry has hosted two events this weekend; the second happened today until 2 p.m.
The ministry was at West End Park in New Iberia, giving a Thanksgiving dinner to those in need.
"We're just glad to be a service to the people who are in need and we do our best to give to those who really, truly do need it," explained assistant cook Robert Alexis. "Holiday seasons are coming up and we strive to not only be best for our community but surrounding areas."
Saturday's event was open to the public.
Friday, the ministry partnered with Second Harvest to host a food truck, where anyone in need was able to receive food.
