A New Iberia man has been arrested following a narcotics bust where agents seized a drug know as "gray death."
New Iberia Police say on August 18, 2020, narcotics agents conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation.
After stopping the vehicle, narcotics Agents utilized the K9 and after a subsequent search of the vehicle, say they seized approximately 8.6 ounces of methamphetamine and around 17.6 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl mixture also known as “Grey Death.”
Kenwin J. Lewis was arrested and booked into the Iberia Parish Jail
He was booked on the following charges:
- Failure to Signal 100 ft. prior
- Possession of Schedule I
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II
- Parole Violation Warrant and a Child Support Warrant.
