Another man has been arrested in connection to a Saturday night fatal shooting on Cotton Street in Iberia Paris.
The Iberia parish Sheriff's Office says that 21-year-old Willis Anderson turned himself in on Friday, December 27 in connection with the shooting which occurred on December 21, 2019.
He has been booked on one count of First Degree Murder and Attempted Armed Robbery. No Bond has been set.
Anderson was wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Brandon Malveaux which happened just before 10:00 pm on December 21, 2019.
Malveaux was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital but died from his injuries.
Two other, 23-year-old Tyler Bourque and 50-year-old Ronald Bourque were arrested and booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on charges of Attempted Robbery and First Degree Murder.
Detectives believe this was an botched robbery attempt. More arrest are anticipated.
