New Iberia Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection to a shots-fired incident on Daspit Road.
Police say that on November 4, 2020 at around 9;00 a.m. officers responded to a shot-fired call in the 1100 block of Daspit Road. The suspect, identified as Bazil Elliot Lancelin, allegedly fired shots at two people in the area.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Lancelin is currently wanted on charges of Attempted 1st Degree Murder (Two Counts), Terrorizing, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Firearm-Free Zone.
