A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting on French and Robertson Streets in New Iberia.
Police arrested Zachary Leblanc on Friday November 6 and booked him on attempted second-degree murder and aggravated criminal damage to property charges.
The Iberia Police Department says the shooting occurred on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at around 9:30 PM. At that time, officers responded to the intersection of French and Robertson Street in reference to a shooting.
One person was shot in the incident and taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
