A 21-year-old was arrested Thursday accused of having sex with an juvenile, filming those sex acts and providing the juvenile with drugs.
The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office says Gavin Guillot was arrested in the early morning hours of February 4 in the Lydia area where he was located with the juvenile.
Police say a small amount of suspected marijuana was found in the room where Guillot and the juvenile were sleeping.
During the investigation, deputies say Guillot allegedly admitted to deputies that he had sex with the juvenile and also allegedly admitted to possession of marijuana.
Guillot also allegedly confessed to the allegations against him and identified other juveniles he had engaged in a sexual manner with.
Deputies placed Guillot under arrest and booked him into the Iberia Parish Jail on the following charges:
- Felony Carnal Knowledge of a juvenile
- Possession of schedule 1 narcotics
- Illegal use of C.D.S. in the presence of a juvenile.
- Contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
An investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
