New Iberia police say they have located and arrested a suspect wanted for shooting at an occupied vehicle in June.
Police says they arrested 29-year-old Anthony Grogan on July 21, 2020, without incident.
He is accused of firing several shots at a vehicle occupied by a woman and child on June 29, 2020. The shooting happened in the area of Paul Street and Sis Street.
Grogan was booked on the following charges:
Attempted First Degree Murder (2 counts)
Illegal Use of Weapons
Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
Possession of a Firearm within a School Zone
Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property
Aggravated Obstruction of a Highway
Aggravated assault wit a firearm
Reckless operation vehicle
