NEW IBERIA, La. — Bristow US LLC, an aviation business in New Iberia, have reported to the Louisiana Workforce Commission that it is laying off 84 employees effective Dec. 1.
According to a notice on the LWC website, Bristow announced the layoffs to LWC on Sept. 22.
Bristow is located at 4605 Industrial Drive in New Iberia and is categorized as a "nonscheduled air transportation" industry by LWC.
According to a company profile on Bloomberg, Bristow provides aviation services and offers helicopter transportation, search and rescue, aircraft support, maintenance, and training services to customers worldwide.
