A Jeanerette man was arrested on drug charges Thursday after police allegedly found 10 pounds of marijuana while executing a search warrant.
Jeanerette Police say 48-year-old Peter Collins was arrested and booked Thursday morning following the search of a residence at 2017 Main Street.
Police say that 10 pounds of marijuana and $2,700 in various denominations were recovered.
Collins was booked on charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and monies derived from drug transactions.
He was transported to the Iberia Parish Jail.
