IBERIA PARISH

In Iberia Parish, there were runoffs for Sheriff, a council seat and city marshal:

Sheriff: Murphy Meyers, Republican was defeated by "Tommy" Romero, Republican. Meyers got 48 percent to Romero's 52 percent.

Councilman District 10: Roger Duncan, Republican, was defeated by Eugene Olivier Sr., Democrat. Duncan got 46 percent of the vote, and Olivier got 54 percent.

City Marshal City Court, City of New Iberia: Brett Lang, Republican, was defeated by "Tony" Migues, Republican. Lang got 43 percent compared to Migues' 57 percent.

Twin Parish Port District Proposition (Millage Renewal)
Shall the Twin Parish Port District of the Parishes of Iberia and Vermilion, State of Louisiana (the "District"), be authorized to continue to levy (i) a tax of four (4) mills on all the property subject to taxation in the District, for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2020 and ending with the year 2029 (an estimated $149,200 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, maintaining or operating an industrial park, waterfront developments, and community redevelopment projects throughout the District and (ii) a tax of one (1) mill on all the property subject to taxation in the District, beginning with the year 2020 and ending with the year 2029 (an estimated $37,300 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), to provide for the general fund of the District?
