Iberia Parish Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man they say was shooting a rifle and threatening people with it.
Deputies were called to a home last night for a complaint of shots fired.
Witnesses allege that Jory Hebert came to the house with an AR-15 and began firing the gun and threatening people with it, deputies say.
Deputies say Hebert left the area in a 2018 or 2019 white Toyota Four-Runner.
A warrant has been issued for Hebert's arrest on two counts aggravated assault with a firearm, two counts aggravated assault on a dating partner, and seven counts illegal use of weapons.
If you know where he is, deputies say don't approach him; call 911 or the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337)-369-3711. He could be armed and should be considered dangerous.
