Firefighters with the Iberia Parish Fire District say a garage fire caused damage to a two-story home on Thursday.
Upon arrival to the home on Marais Road, firefighters say they found the garage and vehicle inside completely engulfed in flames.
The flames had also extended into the first and second floors of the home.
Firefighters says the flames were brought under control within 40 minutes.
