Firefighters with the Iberia Parish Fire District #1 responded to a mobile home fire on Tuesday, June 30.
The incident occurred around 6:01 pm in the 5000 block of Old Jeanerette Road.
Firefighters say that upon arrival the kitchen was found on fire.
After 15 minutes, the fire was brought under control.
The Fire District was assisted by the B.O.M, Grand Marais and Rynella Volunteer Fire Departments.
A cause for the fire was not given.
