IBERIA PARISH — On Saturday, March 7, firefighters with the Iberia Parish Fire District #1 pulled two people from a vehicle that flipped into a coulee.
According to a Facebook post, The incident happened around 6:42 am on Weeks Island Road near Bayou Jack.
The Fire district say the vehicle flipped onto its roof and was partially submerged in the coulee.
In Monday's post, firefighters say the extrication was not an easy process and was very dangerous for both the vehicle occupants and firefighters.
The conditions of the two individuals pulled from the vehicle were not provided.
