Family identifies brothers in fatal New Iberia shooting

Two brothers that were shot on Sunday in New Iberia have been identified by their family.

Family members tell KATC that 13-year-old Demarcus Domond Brown, Jr. died following the shooting on Johnston Street in New Iberia.

18-year-old Tre'gon Norman was injured in that shooting and and is in stable condition in an area hospital.

The shooting happened at about 7:00 p.m. in the 500 block of Johnston Street on June 14, 2020.

New Iberia Police say they have no updates on the investigation as of Tuesday afternoon
