An Acadiana ministry is helping the community rebound by distributing important food items to residents.
Volunteers with Life Grief Support Ministry were at the Iberia Parish Courthouse on Thursday and distributed 2,000 gallons of milk.
Cars lined up at the courthouse for the drive-thru distribution.
The group has held several community giveaways around Acadiana for items like food and vegetables.
"I just feel as though it's needed everywhere. God is able, and He has blessed me in Life Grief Support Ministry and I just want to give back to the community," said organizer Rosalind Bobb. "Everyone is invited, and we're going to give it out until we run out."
