This year's Shadows-on-the-Teche Arts & Crafts Show scheduled for October has been canceled.
The cancellation, according to organizers, is due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the concern for the health of volunteers, staff, vendors, and the community.
The Shadows says that the decision was not taken lightly as proceeds from the show provide funds for ongoing maintenance of the property and its educational programming.
"The Shadows would like to thank the community for understanding the difficulty of this decision," said Jayd Buteaux, marketing and programs manager in a press release. "We look forward to returning with our annual Spring show in March 2021.
