NEW IBERIA, La. - Pastor Donald Wright and Star Pilgrim Baptist Church provided food to the community on Thursday to help during this pandemic.
It happened from 11:00 am until the food ran out. Their goal was to feed 1,200 people.
"There are so many people now that are unemployed, that have families, that are struggling with income right now, with things to do at home, so we wanted to be a blessing to the community," Wright said.
The church is located at 423 E. Pershing St., New Iberia.
