The new work week has arrived, and has done so along with a front that is stalling out across Acadiana which doesn't bode well for our forecast.

Moisture will remain locked in place and as a result fog will be laying in thick for the next several mornings, which will make the commutes a little tricky.

Showers will be widely scattered through the day, and these light on and off showers will be the main order of business for the next few days.

Temperatures will warm into the low 70s Monday afternoon and the mid 70s by Tuesday as we sit in the warm, muggy section of the front.

This front will stall out on the area on Tuesday and then finally getting kicked out of the region on Wednesday and Thursday with cold, rainy weather expected.

Weather should improve on Friday and Saturday before another front will move back up into the area for Mardi Gras.
