Cajundome releases information on Chris Stapleton concert

LAFAYETTE, La.- The Cajundome has released information regarding the Chris Stapleton All American Tour happening this Friday, August 30, at the Cajundome.

Due to the Kiwanis Football Jamboree at Cajun Field and private events in the Convention Center, the following parking options will be available on Friday night. Free parking will be available at the Cajundome's Gate 8 entrance in addition to Gates 4 and 5 at Cajun Field.

Free parking will also be available at Blackham Coliseum and the Cabbage Patch Lot with free shuttle service to the Cajundome Gate 12 entrance pre-and post-concert.

Patrons are encouraged to carpool or use ride sharing services like Uber or Lyft and can be dropped off at Gate 12 or at Cajun Field via the pedestrian tunnel. Parking pass holders and limited handicapped parking will be available at Cajundome's Gate 12.

Patrons are encouraged to arrive early starting at 4:30pm for the Coca Cola Concert Corner featuring entertainment by 97.3 The Dawg, ticket upgrade giveaways, concessions and a special performance by Jaryd Lane. The Concert Corner is sponsored by the Cajundome, Coca Cola, and Townsquare Media.

Lobby doors open at 5:30 pm and the concert starts at 7 pm with the first opener.

Guests who purchased VIP packages should follow the instructions sent via email.

The Cajundome has also implemented new entry procedures for concert goers (SEE BELOW). Signage will direct patrons to the West Side Ramp for entry in addition to the brick archways located in front of the main canopy. Patrons should follow the signage based on their ticket location and guests attending without a bag or purse can enter through the designated express lanes. Handicap accessible entrances can be located at the West Ramp entrance and at both the East and West side doors of the main lobby entrance. Concessions and merchandise stands can be found in the main lobby and on the second level concourse.

Reminder that all bags are subject to search and no large or oversized bags will be permitted.

Metal detector procedures will be in place.

For safety reasons, the following items are prohibited and patrons may be refused entry if they are in possession of any of the following:

alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, weapons of any type, including knives, guns, or chains, outside food or beverage, any plastic, metal or glass containers, video or audio recorders, laser pointers, coolers, strollers, IPADs, Tablets, Go-Pros.
