It's been a long time coming, but that front has finally arrived and temperatures are sitting at normal.

Clouds lingered overnight, but despite that the morning saw temperatures hold steadily in the mid 60s through the majority of the morning.

Even though we had a cooler start it'll be pleasantly warm in the afternoon, mid 80s with dry conditions later in the day Tuesday.

Clouds will struggle to clear with sunshine starting to peak through in the late morning in north Acadiana, and the clearing moving progressively south through the day.

The clearing will arrive just in time for temperatures to push down into the mid 60s again Tuesday night, before the turn around gets started on Wednesday.

That same front that moved through as a cold front will return, this time as a warm front dragging along with it the warm moist air from the south.

Luckily this is short lived with an even more impressive cool down arriving this weekend.
