Giles Automotive presented donations totaling $2,363.16 to Dreams Come True of Louisiana, Acadiana Animal Aid, and The Outreach Center on Thursday April 23rd.
These donations were raised by the community through the Giles Automotive 20 cent gas sale which was held last week at Giles Automotive on Johnston Street in Lafayette. In addition to helping the various causes those that purchased gas saved nearly 85% of the regular cost of gas.
Bob Giles, Chairman/ CEO of Giles Automotive, commented "The people of Acadiana really came together on this effort. We saw a way to help out the community by offering a way for them to give back to their community while saving some money. Thanks to the amazing turnout, we were able to give back to 3 really deserving charities in Louisiana."
