The forecast for Wednesday picks up right where we left it.
A warm, sticky morning will give way to a round of showers in the afternoon, and possibly a thunderstorm or two.
Highs will be in the upper 80s while the heat index pushes into the upper 90s with little wind to help things feel better.
This is the way it'll be for the remainder of the week, with no real break in the pattern.
A surge of moisture will push up from the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday which will spark widespread, heavy showers through the weekend.
It looks like a couple inches of rain at least with this system, some areas could even see 4-5" in certain spots so localized flooding may be an issue through the weekend.
