Sts. Leo-Seton Catholic School in Lafayette was named the top-earner for Community Coffee's Cash for Schools program.
This is the third consecutive year that the school has managed to snag the top-earning spot.
This year, the school earned over $8,000. Community says it is the most ever earned by a single school.
Last year the school earned $7,900.
"We are extremely proud of our students, staff, families and community for raising the bar and continuing to support our school through the Community Cash for Schools Program," said Amos J. Batiste Jr., Development Director, Sts. Leo-Seton Catholic School in a press release.
Community Cash for Schools, now in its 31st year, helps public and private schools earn funds for programs and initiatives that serve student needs. Those include new textbooks, computers, playground equipment, and school events, among others.
Community says that more than 670 schools participated in this year's program and earned over a quarter million from Proof of Purchase collections.
