Fog is going to be the main weather issue over the next several days as we continue to deal with an increasingly warm and muggy air mass taking hold across Acadiana.
As that warm, muggy air sits over the relatively cooler waters, that air mass cools to the dew point and sea fog begins to form along the coast.
That's exactly what we're seeing play out this week and weekend so the next several mornings are likely to be very foggy and visibility will stay poor through at least mid morning.
Once the fog burns there's still going to be some cloud cover although we may be getting patchy afternoon sunshine over the next couple of days.
Highs will sit in the 70s through the rest of the week and with all the moisture in the atmosphere we're going to see lows remain in the low 60s.
This pattern isn't going to change much until a front moves through on Monday which will not only provide showers but a fresher, cooler air mass will take hold next week.
