After several days of gray, damp weather we finally are getting a break in the clouds Friday afternoon, and a round of really nice weather coming up for the weekend.
A few showers pushed their way through the coastline early Friday morning, but the showers are quickly moving out of the region and won't be back until next week.
The clouds will take a little longer to clear the area but we will get a little sunshine by the end of the afternoon as clouds move out just in time for the weekend.
Temperatures are going to be pushing into the low 60s by the late afternoon, but with gusty conditions coming from the north the wind chill will stay in the low 40s.
The weekend is looking good with plenty of sunshine and slowly warming temperatures, highs on Sunday will be in the upper 60s.
Enjoy the weekend's sunshine as it won't be long lasting, the clouds and showers will return next work week.
