Ville Platte City Hall is closed to the public until further notice, and utility disconnects are suspended.
Mayor Jennifer Vidrine posted the notices on her Facebook page this evening.
Residents can still make payments via the drive-thru, the drop box or snail mail.
If you need information or need to report a problem, you can call City Hall @ 363-2939.
The mayor also urged citizens to wash their hands, practice social distancing, avoid large crowds and pray.
