Trick or Treating is happening early in Evangeline Parish on Tuesday.
The Town of Basile is holding their trick or treat on Main Street, one of the earliest Halloween dates for Acadiana.
A number of towns and cities have trick or treating scheduled for Wednesday but a majority of locations are keeping things traditional with candy hunting starting on Thursday October 31, in the evening hours.

KATC's Katie Easter was live in Basile as trick or treating kicked off. She sported her best costumes for the fun.
The Swine Festival set-up is also taking place downtown where the trick-or-treating is taking place.
