VILLE PLATTE, La. - Police are investigating a shooting that happened in Ville Platte Thursday afternoon.
Gun shots were fired at the corner Edward Knotoe Thomas Jr. Street and S. Soileau Street, according to Chief Neil Lartigue, Ville Platte Police Department.
Injuries are unknown at this time.
Eunice Police have detained several people and are waiting for Ville Platte Police to take over the case, according to Chief Randy Fontenot, Eunice Police Department.
