State Fire Marshal deputies are investigating a fatal mobile home fire in Ville Platte.
The Marshal's Office say the fire happened just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2020. The Ward 5 Fire Protection District responded to the fire located in the 5500 block of St. Landry Highway.
The structure was a mobile home. After putting out the fire, the fire marshal's office says crews discovered a body inside.
No further details were released.
