UPDATE: The boil water adivsory for customers of East Side Water System in Evangeline Parish has been lifted.
The East Side Water System in Ville Platte has issued a boil water advisory.
The water company experienced problems with their water system and as a precaution an advisory has been issued.
The advisory is to remain in effect until rescinded.
