The water is safe for consumption.

The Village of Turkey Creek Water Customers in the community of Saint Landry are under a boil advisory due to a break in a 6 inch water main until further notice.
That means any tap water must be boiled for a full minute before it is used for drinking, making ice, cooking, brushing teeth or watering animals.
