Some residents in the town of Basile will have no water today, while repairs are made to a broken water main.
Crews are on the scene to assess the damage Wednesday morning, but there's not an estimate yet on how long customers will be without water. Once water service is restored, customers who lost water will be under a boil order until tests on the water come back clear.
Affected are residents of Stag west of Magnolia, officials say.
