EUNICE, La — An investigation into the Eunice City Marshal is complete, and he will not be facing charges.
A partial video surfaced in November of what appeared to be Eunice City Marshal Terry Darbonne pushing his wife down during a verbal altercation. Eunice Police requested the St. Landry Sheriff's Office to take over the investigation.
During the course of the investigation, detectives recovered the full video of the altercation and statements from all of the parties involved.
“No charges on any parties will be sought after a thorough investigation conducted by our office.” said Sheriff Bobby Guiddroz.
No one involved wished to file charges on any parties involved.
