Entergy Louisiana is reporting up to 700 customers are affected by power outages in Vermilion Parish.
Officials told KATC the outage occurred due to a vehicle hitting a power pole.
Areas experiencing the outage covers most of the community of Perry and parts of Abbeville. Homes along LA 82, LA 330, LA 3267, and connected roadways are without power.
According to the power outage map, customers should have their power restored by 11:30 am.
