On Wednesday night, Secretary of State candidate Gwen Collins-Greenup will be in Lafayette to hold a town hall meeting.

The town hall is a part of Collins-Greenup’s “All Access Visibility Tour” around the state. The tour, according to Greenup’s team, will introduce voters to her campaign and goals for the office while also discussing the issues facing the Secretary of State’s office.

The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm at the Clifton Chenier Center on West Willow Street in Lafayette. Doors open at 5:30 pm.

Collins-Greenup, the Democratic candidate, finished less than 10,000 votes behind Republican Kyle Ardoin during the November 6 election. Louisiana voters will decide which of the two candidates will take the Secretary of State position during the December 8 election.

Early voting is currently underway in Louisiana and will end on December 1. Residents can find information regarding sample ballots and polling locations at the Louisiana Secretary of State website.
